Deuteronomy 28:49-53
This might have been a prophecy of what hit Jerusalem as a result of the many years and incidents of God's people rebelling against Him. The siege of Jerusalem in 70AD is believed to be God's judgement against Jerusalem for all of the prophets the people had slain and the final last straw was the crucifixion of Christ. The description God gives in this passage is exactly what happened. People were cannibalizing their own children and eating their own excrement from starvation.
