How did she know he was a Jew? His clothing maybe? His accent?
She did understand WHY he would talk to her.....Jews had no dealings with...or communion with Samaritans!
1. Jew were never under obligation to Samaritans
2. Never borrowed from them
3. Not drink or eat with them..out of the same cup or vessels
4. No religious connection
5. No commercial dealings
There was deadly hatred between these two nations
And The Jews cursed them
Can you compare two Nations today that are like this?
