13aSo the Philistines were subdued and bthey did not come anymore within the border of Israel. And the hand of the Lord was against the Philistines all the days of Samuel.

Now the Philistines assembled to fight with Israel, 30,000 chariots and 6,000 horsemen, and apeople like the sand which is on the seashore in abundance; and they came up and camped in Michmash, east of bBeth-aven.
