Then he believed in the Lord; and He reckoned it to him as righteousness.
Romans 4:3, Romans 4:20-22, Galatians 3:6, James 2:23
For what does the Scripture say? "aABRAHAM BELIEVED GOD, AND IT WAS CREDITED TO HIM AS RIGHTEOUSNESS."
yet, with respect to the promise of God, he did not waver in unbelief but grew strong in faith, agiving glory to God,
and abeing fully assured that bwhat God had promised, He was able also to perform.
Therefore aIT WAS ALSO CREDITED TO HIM AS RIGHTEOUSNESS.
Even so aAbraham bBELIEVED GOD, AND IT WAS RECKONED TO HIM AS RIGHTEOUSNESS.
and the Scripture was fulfilled which says, "aAND ABRAHAM BELIEVED GOD, AND IT WAS RECKONED TO HIM AS RIGHTEOUSNESS," and he was called bthe friend of God.
