Isaiah 17

12 Alas, the uproar of many peoples aWho roar like the roaring of the seas, And the rumbling of nations Who rush on like the brumbling of mighty waters!
13 The anations rumble on like the rumbling of many waters, But He will brebuke them and they will flee far away, And be chased clike chaff in the mountains before the wind, Or like whirling dust before a gale.
14 At evening time, behold, there is terror! Before morning athey are no more. Such will be the portion of those who plunder us And the lot of those who pillage us.

8 It will be as when a hungry man dreams-- And behold, he is eating; But when he awakens, his hunger is not satisfied, Or as when a thirsty man dreams-- And behold, he is drinking, But when he awakens, behold, he is faint And his thirst is not quenched. aThus the multitude of all the nations will be Who wage war against Mount Zion.
