Train Up a Child In the Way

Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it.

God's Word is filled with amazing promises. He doesn't lie neither does He go back on His word. What He said, that He shall also do. If we are obedient to His command, He will faithfully carry out His promise. "do not provoke your children to wrath, but bring them up in the training and admonition of the Lord". Admonition means to teach, council, exhort, discipline and rebuke. If this is done with heart-felt and genuine concern for your child's soul, they will receive it, retain it and live by it.
