Yea, Though I Walk Through the Valley of the Shadow of Death

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. Psalm 23:4 NKJV

The Christian has nothing to fear even in the face of death. Though the shadow of promised death come lurking at our door, we can rest assured that the very presence of the Good Shepherd will keep and uphold us with the rod of the gospel that guides and corrects us, and the staff of protection in which He uses to ward off the enemies attacks. Like the shadow of a lion could not destroy a sheep, the shadow of death cannot hurt us.

Death has lost it's sting for those who trust and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. We are eternally secure in the arms of the Shepherd who laid down His life for His sheep. Amen
