The name of the man was Elimelech and the name of his wife Naomi, and the names of his two sons were Mahlon and Chilion. They were Ephrathites from Bethlehem in Judah. They went into the country of Moab and remained there.

This people group (judah) were not to venture into moab. This city would despise them. This city had no church groups to attend. This city had no christian children for his boys to grow up with and learn from. His wife would feel alone because all of her friends were not christians. Men please look at that when before you move your family anywhere new.
