The body was formed from the elements of the created earth.the spirit man was created from the elements of the Spirit. The air breathed into man's natural body was the breath of supernatural and but allowed him(man) to breathe within the created atmosphere of earth. Previously, the spirit man had no need of the air because he/she existed as God did...without need of air or the components of earth. This breath gave life to dirt which allowed him to exist within the created earth.
