So why did God not form woman from the dust? Perhaps it is because he wanted them to be of the same substance...one flesh. New dust from the same quarry is still separate in composition. Even twins fertilized in the same womb have the chance of having been fertilized differently. Only those that are split from the same fertilization process are termed "identical" thus the woman had to be of the same flesh to be as one part of the man. The two shall become one again!
