How did woman know of this instruction from God? She was not even formed yet when this instruction was given to man! But she existed within the spirit of man before she was formed from his flesh. She knew by the spirit what the command was and she allowed her flesh to overrule it and her flesh was deceived because it was as the serpent, evil. The enemy knows how to trick the flesh and render the spirit ineffective. He promised things that appealed to the lust of the eye (the fruit), the pride of life (knowledge) the deceitfulness of riches (you shall be like God!)
