Just think how much worse the punishment will be for those who have trampled on the Son of God, and have treated the blood of the covenant, which made us holy, as if it were common and unholy, and have insulted and disdained the Holy Spirit who brings God’s mercy to us.

Are all the promises meant for us today? Promises are still for us.
Who has to right to claim a promise from God? No, only believers can claim a promise. The unbeliever can only claim the promise of how to be saved.
Psa. Promises on how to live out our lives. God loves us unconditionally. He teaches, loves, and never forsakes us.
When does a promise to claim?
1. Believing a promise of God belong to me.
When the promise meets a personal need by Gods promise to give me directions.
2. When the context meets the need 1 John 5:14-15
I come and ask and if it is his will. It honors him. It has to be something that fits his will. What is your will? Direction to obey him.
When I'm walking in the will of God. It's his plan for your life.
