MCBC Why I preach and teach. 8/31/2014 Paul is writing to a group called the narcissist. They believed in a supreme god but there were differences. We believe that we can come to know our god, they believe that there is not way that any human being can have any contact with their god. They believe that their god created many gods. For example the god Sophia a virgin who gave birth the Jehovah. They believe that their god is imperfect, and thus so is the world but that the serpent was good for showing man their imperfection. God sent Paul to preach and teach this group.
