For the Scripture says to Pharaoh, "For this very purpose I have raised you up, that I might show my power in you, and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth."

Gods purpose was to show Pharoah who didn't believe in God because Ge thought He was a god and show those who worshipped idols other gods would see who the real God is through plagues and also show His people that Ge was their deliver and their God! Awesome!
