Chapter 1

And God said, "Let the earth sprout vegetation, plants yielding seed, and fruit trees bearing fruit in which is their seed, each according to its kind, on the earth." And it was so.
12
The earth brought forth vegetation, plants yielding seed according to their own kinds, and trees bearing fruit in which is their seed, each according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.

God saw that is good. Creation sprung from God, it was good. Sin is not of God, and now it is good no longer because it is not of God, sin if not of God.
Romans 7:18- For I know that good itself does not dwell in me, that is, in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out
Luke 18:19- "Why do you call me good?" Jesus answered. "Nothing is good except God alone"
