He had reigned over Judah from Hebron for seven years and six months, and from Jerusalem he reigned over all Israel and Judah for thirty-three years.

Look up more of the troubles David had gone through and why was king saws trying to kill him? That could be is because she became king and the king saw wanted to get rid of him.
