How wise parents teach their children to be wise They collaborate- fathers affirm the mothers authority as teacher. Instructions from mother and father are in agreement. No contradiction or confusion. Be in communication with each other. They warn- obeying your parents is a matter of life and death. In this fallen world foolishness won't survive. They need obedience. There are delights of obedience and the dangers of disobedience. They teach the gospel- bind these instructions to your heart; love them Wisdoms begins with the fear of the Lord. Fear of the Lord starts in the heart. Jesus died so you can have the power of the Holy Ghost to change your heart.
