Then the Lord God said, "Behold, the man has become like one of us in knowing good and evil. Now, lest he reach out his hand and take also of the tree of life and eat, and live forever—"

In the beginning there were the two trees that really stood out. The Tree of the knowledge of good and evil, and the Tree of Life. 2 things that I noticed were that when they ate of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil they were banished shortly thereafter probably so that they did not eat from the Tree of Life and live forever. Could that have blown our chance for salvation if they did? Why didn't the serpent try to convince them to eat from the Tree of life first? What would have happened. I am thankful for all that God did and his love and protection and especially salvation after what we did.
