Forbidding us to speak to the Gentiles that they might be saved, to fill up their sins alway: for the wrath is come upon them to the uttermost.

On the doctrine that Jews, by virtue of their ethnicity, are God's chosen people - even though they believe in another messiah: Paraphrasing one tenet of the doctrine, "if you bless them, God will bless you and if you curse them, God will curse you."
But, according to these verses (14-16), God's wrath is on them, not His blessing. See also Revelation 2:9.
