And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.

There are two ways to read this. One is that there are 1,290 days from when the daily sacrifice is taken away until the abomination of desolation is set up. The other is that the daily sacrifice is taken away on the same day that the abomination of desolation is set up and then there are 1,290 days until the end that's mentioned in verses 6, 7 and 8.
