10 Lot lifted up his eyes and saw all the avalley of the Jordan, that it was well watered everywhere--this was before the Lord bdestroyed Sodom and Gomorrah--like cthe garden of the Lord, dlike the land of Egypt as you go to eZoar.

Would I have chosen the same! Was there another choice? Going to the best land would make sense but it didn't appear that Lot was hesitant. Probably would have pressed Abram to continue to the land that seemed fitting for both! Even if I had to give up some of the herd! I think about Lot's love for rich's vs the Lord and what Jesus said about it being easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than it is for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven!
