Matthew 9:36-38... Jesus has such compassion for the people, he is moved to pray for others to come and help. He actually was praying for preachers, pastors, disciples, ministers, to help come and win souls for the kingdom. He can do it all, but how wonderful would it be to say, "Yes, Lord, I will help bring in the harvest." I don't believe Jesus was overwhelmed with the task, I believe He knew when he left this world, he wanted to know who would continue to do his work. Which is why he was praying for laborers.
