This passage really unsettles & bothers me bcuz I wear a crucifix around my neck & it's been there thru MANY a death defying moment! I even rub it when I'm thinking hard or troubled...it's almost SMOOTH! :) I don't pray to it or worship it...it's a symbol of my Faith & love for Jesus...a reminder that God is ALWAYS with me, even in sin! Am I wrong to have/wear it? I also have praying hands w/Jesus prayin at Mount b4 His betrayal on my dresser... Am I WRONG! Any thoughts on this out there?
