It's like someone saying I know what what strawberry ice cream tastes like, then they begin to describe in full detail broccoli. You would instantly know that they have never tasted strawberry ice cream in their life!! Because it tastes nothing like broccoli at all (ask any child). To say "I know God" but then do not obey His commands is not possible, because Christ died and defeated sin, then placed His Spirit inside of the ones who know Him. He gives them the desires of their hearts and causes them to walk in His ways (for it's God who works in me to will and to do).
