The apostles were speaking in various languages, the mighty works of God. This miracle AGAIN HAD a purpose - to amaze those were around, stir their curiosity about this awesome God. God is very purpose-driven in all He does; it is all for our greater good- Romans 8:28-29- to be confirmed into CHRIST's image
