Chapter 37

Then Isaiah the son of Amoz sent to Hezekiah, saying, "Thus says the Lord, the God of Israel: Because you have prayed to me concerning Sennacherib king of Assyria,

this is the word that the Lord has spoken concerning him: "'She despises you, she scorns you— the virgin daughter of Zion; she wags her head behind you— the daughter of Jerusalem.

Translation of the two verses: because king Hezekiah decided to turn to God for help, God proclaimed that He will cause him and the whole of Zion (God's people) to laugh and shake their heads at their enemies because His word will give them strong faith that will constantly reassure them and keep them calm even in the face of the most intimidating threats from their enemies (the kings of assyria)...And of course that He will destroy their enemies in the process
