Let the BIBLE interpret itself, i was wondering why God would want pigeons to be sacrificed and burnt with fire and the altar be sprinkled with blood!?! The answer is here: (Sin Offering) "For the wages of sin is death." -NT This is no longer required however as the lamb of God (Jesus) paid the price so we no longer have to kill things with fire as in the OT to pay for our sins.
