The Samaritans did believe in the same God as the Jews but they rejected the prophetic writings They also incorporated idols into their worship.....so they really didn't know who they worshipped Then Jesus said...we Jews know who we worship Salvation is of the Jews.....FROM the JEWS...Salvation seems here to mean the Savior, the messiah
