You therefore, beloved, knowing this beforehand, take care that you are not carried away with the error of lawless people and lose your own stability.

Life is hard as it is, not accounting for people around you who may try to pull you in to things that they count as more important, or that they feel so strongly about. We must remember that God is the the Author and Perfector of our faith, and he he LOVES us so much.
