After the Lord had spoken these words to Job, the Lord said to Eliphaz the Temanite: "My anger burns against you and against your two friends, for you have not spoken of me what is right, as my servant Job has.

Poor speaking about God was the sin that prompted the requirement for Job's three friends. The sin was sacrilegious, speaking dishonorably about God and it was a serious sin. This provoked God. It predicted judgement. Dishonoring God will bring punishment from God and it will be fair. This exonerated Job and God call Job my servant. We either serve God or Satan.
