Job

Jean Rubes's Note
Sep 8
It took a lot of humility for the three friends of Job to do as the Lord commanded, but if you are going to obey God you will often have to walk the humble road. Completeness of submission involved participation. They all three submitted and they did exactly what God told them to do. If we want the rewards of obedience, we must fulfill the requirements of obedience. The Lord accepted Job, he also accepted the people for whom Job prayed. The sinful men were accepted in Job, sinners are accepted by God through Jesus. We can not obtain acceptance by ourselves but must come to God through another.
