And they heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and the man and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God among the trees of the garden.

Oct 25
God came walking into the garden, not running, or riding upon the wigs of the wind, but walking as if slow to anger; when we are angered we should not be hasty, but should speak and act considerately. He did not come at night nor in the heat of the day, but in the cool of the evening. He did not come upon them suddenly, for they heard Him walking.
