So if my countenance is down I need to check myself because I am not doing well? Hmm Lord, help me remember and apply this. If life is hard my countenance should still reflect my dependence and tryst in you. It is not an excuse for griping,or even a fallen countenance. As this verse says If I am doing right my countenance won't be down. And if my countenance is down sin is crouching st the door. It is sin to fuss, complain and worry which all cause my countenance to be down. Lord forgive me for most of this past week I have had a countenance that was not lifted up in praise and faith in You. I've been trying to fix things myself I confess my sin to you and ask you to cleanse me of this iniquity, and remind me of this lesson each day.
