For by the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think with sober judgment, each according to the measure of faith that God has assigned.

Select and define the word, "assigned". Pay special attention to definition #2. Does God 'assign' faith to/for specific situations/trials that we face throughout our lives? Does He 'assign' us faith of different strengths/amounts for each individual situation/trial according to our need?
