If we don't know who is in control in our lives, we have distortion in our views. John 10:10. The thief comes to bring destruction. Knowing we have an enemy helps us to know who's in control. Daily there is a deliberate attack to see me fail. My flesh is an enemy, satan is an enemy. Simply ignoring satan and my flesh does not make it go away. The Bible says to resist satan and he will flee. We can't resist some thing we don't acknowledge. 1 Peter 5:8. A soul not hearing from the spirit is slowing dying. Spirit of God speaks to our spirit, our spirit speaks to our soul.
