Isaiah 14

29 "Do not rejoice, O aPhilistia, all of you, Because the rod that bstruck you is broken; For from the serpent's root a cviper will come out, And its fruit will be a dflying serpent.
30 "Those who are most ahelpless will eat, And the needy will lie down in security; I will destroy your root with bfamine, And it will kill off your survivors.
31 "Wail, O agate; cry, O city; Melt away, O bPhilistia, all of you; For smoke comes from the cnorth, And dthere is no straggler in his ranks.

Jeremiah 47

1 That which came as the word of the Lord to Jeremiah the prophet concerning the aPhilistines, before Pharaoh conquered bGaza.
2 Thus says the Lord: "Behold, waters are going to rise from athe north And become an overflowing torrent, And boverflow the land and all its fullness, The city and those who live in it; And the men will ccry out, And every inhabitant of the land will wail.
3 "Because of the noise of the agalloping hoofs of his stallions, The tumult of his chariots, and the rumbling of his wheels, The fathers have not turned back for their children, Because of the limpness of their hands,
4 On account of the day that is coming To adestroy all the Philistines, To cut off from bTyre and Sidon Every ally that is left; For the Lord is going to destroy the Philistines, The remnant of the coastland of cCaphtor.
5 "aBaldness has come upon Gaza; bAshkelon has been ruined. O remnant of their valley, How long will you cgash yourself?
6 "Ah, asword of the Lord, How long will you not be quiet? Withdraw into your sheath; Be at rest and stay still.
7 "How can it be quiet, When the Lord has agiven it an order? Against Ashkelon and against the seacoast-- There He has bassigned it."

Ezekiel 25

16 therefore thus says the Lord GOD, "Behold, I will astretch out My hand against the Philistines, even cut off the bCherethites and destroy the remnant of the seacoast.

Joel 3

4 "Moreover, what are you to Me, O aTyre, Sidon and all the regions of bPhilistia? Are you rendering Me a recompense? But if you do recompense Me, swiftly and speedily I will creturn your recompense on your head.
5 "Since you have ataken My silver and My gold, brought My precious treasures to your temples,
6 and sold the asons of Judah and Jerusalem to the Greeks in order to remove them far from their territory,
7 behold, I am going to aarouse them from the place where you have sold them, and return your recompense on your head.
8 "Also I will asell your sons and your daughters into the hand of the sons of Judah, and they will sell them to the bSabeans, to a distant nation," for the Lord has spoken.

Zephaniah 2

4 For aGaza will be abandoned And Ashkelon a desolation; aAshdod will be driven out at noon And aEkron will be uprooted.
5 Woe to the inhabitants of the seacoast, The nation of the aCherethites! The word of the Lord is bagainst you, O cCanaan, land of the Philistines; And I will ddestroy you So that there will be eno inhabitant.
6 So the seacoast will be apastures, With caves for shepherds and folds for flocks.
7 And the coast will be For the aremnant of the house of Judah, They will bpasture on it. In the houses of Ashkelon they will lie down at evening; For the Lord their God will ccare for them And drestore their fortune.

Zechariah 9

5 Ashkelon will see it and be afraid. Gaza too will writhe in great pain; Also Ekron, for her expectation has been confounded. Moreover, the king will perish from Gaza, And Ashkelon will not be inhabited.
6 And a mongrel race will dwell in aAshdod, And I will cut off the pride of the Philistines.
7 And I will remove their blood from their mouth And their detestable things from between their teeth. Then they also will be a remnant for our God, And be like a clan in Judah, And Ekron like a Jebusite.
