Then Mordecai went out from the presence of the king ain royal robes of blue and white, with a large crown of gold and ba garment of fine linen and purple; and cthe city of Susa shouted and rejoiced.

The couriers went out impelled by the king's command while the decree was issued at the citadel in Susa; and while the king and Haman sat down to drink, athe city of Susa was in confusion.
