Isaiah 5

26 He will also lift up a astandard to the distant nation, And will bwhistle for it cfrom the ends of the earth; And behold, it will dcome with speed swiftly.
27 aNo one in it is weary or stumbles, None slumbers or sleeps; Nor is the bbelt at its waist undone, Nor its sandal strap broken.
28 aIts arrows are sharp and all its bows are bent; The hoofs of its horses seem like flint and its chariot bwheels like a whirlwind.
29 Its aroaring is like a lioness, and it roars like young lions; It growls as it bseizes the prey And carries it off with cno one to deliver it.

Isaiah 34

1 Draw near, aO nations, to hear; and listen, O peoples! bLet the earth and all it contains hear, and the world and all that springs from it.
2 For the Lord'S aindignation is against all the nations, And His wrath against all their armies; He has butterly destroyed them, He has given them over to cslaughter.
3 So their slain will be athrown out, And their corpses will give off their bstench, And the mountains will be drenched with their cblood.
4 And aall the host of heaven will wear away, And the bsky will be rolled up like a scroll; All their hosts will also wither away As a leaf withers from the vine, Or as one withers from the fig tree.
5 For aMy sword is satiated in heaven, Behold it shall descend for judgment upon bEdom And upon the people whom I have cdevoted to destruction.
6 The sword of the Lord is filled with blood, It is sated with fat, with the blood of lambs and goats, With the fat of the kidneys of rams. For the Lord has a sacrifice in aBozrah And a great slaughter in the land of bEdom.

Isaiah 63

1 Who is this who comes from aEdom, With bgarments of glowing colors from cBozrah, This One who is majestic in His apparel, Marching in the greatness of His strength? "It is I who speak in righteousness, dmighty to save."
2 Why is Your apparel red, And Your garments like the one who atreads in the wine press?
3 "aI have trodden the wine trough alone, And from the peoples there was no man with Me. I also btrod them in My anger And ctrampled them in My wrath; And dtheir lifeblood is sprinkled on My garments, And I stained all My raiment.
4 "For the aday of vengeance was in My heart, And My year of redemption has come.
5 "I looked, and there was ano one to help, And I was astonished and there was no one to uphold; So My bown arm brought salvation to Me, And My wrath upheld Me.
6 "I atrod down the peoples in My anger And made them bdrunk in My wrath, And I poured out their lifeblood on the earth."

Isaiah 66

15 For behold, the Lord will come in afire And His bchariots like the whirlwind, To render His anger with fury, And His rebuke with flames of fire.

Isaiah 66

16 For the Lord will execute judgment by afire And by His bsword on all flesh, And those slain by the Lord will be many.

Joel 3

9 aProclaim this among the nations: bPrepare a war; crouse the mighty men! Let all the soldiers draw near, let them come up!
10 aBeat your plowshares into swords And your pruning hooks into spears; bLet the weak say, "I am a mighty man."

12 Let the nations be aroused And come up to the avalley of Jehoshaphat, For there I will sit to bjudge All the surrounding nations.
13 aPut in the sickle, for the bharvest is ripe. Come, ctread, for the dwine press is full; The vats overflow, for their ewickedness is great.
14 aMultitudes, multitudes in the bvalley of decision! For the cday of the Lord is near in the valley of decision.
