Psalms 74

3 Turn Your footsteps toward the aperpetual ruins; The enemy bhas damaged everything within the sanctuary.
4 Your adversaries have aroared in the midst of Your meeting place; They have set up their bown standards cfor signs.
5 It seems as if one had lifted up His aaxe in a forest of trees.
6 And now all its acarved work They smash with hatchet and hammers.
7 They have aburned Your sanctuary to the ground; They have bdefiled the dwelling place of Your name.
8 They asaid in their heart, "Let us completely subdue them." They have burned all the meeting places of God in the land.
9 We do not see our asigns; There is bno longer any prophet, Nor is there any among us who knows chow long.
10 How long, O God, will the adversary arevile, And the enemy bspurn Your name forever?

Psalms 79

1 O God, the anations have invaded bYour inheritance; They have defiled Your choly temple; They have dlaid Jerusalem in ruins.
2 They have given the adead bodies of Your servants for food to the birds of the heavens, The flesh of Your godly ones to the beasts of the earth.
3 They have poured out their blood like water round about Jerusalem; And there was ano one to bury them.
4 We have become a areproach to our neighbors, A scoffing and derision to those around us.

Ezekiel 22

4 "You have become aguilty by the blood which you have shed, and defiled by your idols which you have made. Thus you have brought your day near and have come to your years; therefore I have made you a breproach to the nations and a mocking to all the lands.
