Now the word of the Lord came to me saying,

"Go and aproclaim in the ears of Jerusalem, saying, 'Thus says the Lord, "I remember concerning you the bdevotion of your youth, The love of your betrothals, cYour following after Me in the wilderness, Through a land not sown.

"Israel was aholy to the Lord, The bfirst of His harvest. cAll who ate of it became guilty; Evil came upon them," declares the Lord.'"

"Then I passed by you and saw you, and behold, you were at the time for love; so I aspread My skirt over you and covered your nakedness. I also bswore to you and centered into a covenant with you so that you dbecame Mine," declares the Lord GOD.
