16 Moreover, the Lord said, "Because the adaughters of Zion are proud And walk with heads held high and seductive eyes, And go along with mincing steps And tinkle the bangles on their feet,
17 Therefore the Lord will afflict the scalp of the daughters of Zion with scabs, And the Lord will make their foreheads bare."
18 In that day the Lord will take away the beauty of their anklets, headbands, acrescent ornaments,
19 dangling earrings, bracelets, veils,
20 aheaddresses, ankle chains, sashes, perfume boxes, amulets,
21 finger rings, anose rings,
22 festal robes, outer tunics, cloaks, money purses,
23 hand mirrors, undergarments, turbans and veils.
24 Now it will come about that instead of sweet aperfume there will be putrefaction; Instead of a belt, a rope; Instead of bwell-set hair, a cplucked-out scalp; Instead of fine clothes, a ddonning of sackcloth; And branding instead of beauty.
25 Your men will afall by the sword And your mighty ones in battle.
26 And her agates will lament and mourn, And deserted she will bsit on the ground.

Isaiah 4

1 For seven women will take hold of aone man in that day, saying, "We will eat our own bread and wear our own clothes, only let us be called by your name; btake away our reproach!"

Isaiah 32

9 Rise up, you awomen who are at ease, And hear my voice; bGive ear to my word, You complacent daughters.
10 Within a year and a few days You will be troubled, O complacent daughters; aFor the vintage is ended, And the fruit gathering will not come.
11 Tremble, you women who are at ease; aBe troubled, you complacent daughters; bStrip, undress and put sackcloth on your waist,
12 aBeat your breasts for the pleasant fields, for the fruitful vine,
13 aFor the land of my people in which thorns and briars shall come up; Yea, for all the joyful houses and for the bjubilant city.
14 Because athe palace has been abandoned, the populated bcity forsaken. Hill and watch-tower have become ccaves forever, A delight for dwild donkeys, a pasture for flocks;
15 Until the aSpirit is poured out upon us from on high, And the wilderness becomes a bfertile field, And the fertile field is considered as a forest.
