Leviticus 26

19 'I will also abreak down your pride of power; I will also make your sky like iron and your earth like bronze.

Isaiah 2

10 aEnter the rock and hide in the dust bFrom the terror of the Lord and from the splendor of His majesty.
11 The aproud look of man will be abased And the bloftiness of man will be humbled, And the Lord alone will be exalted in that day.

13 And it will be against all the cedars of Lebanon that are lofty and lifted up, Against all the aoaks of Bashan,

15 Against every ahigh tower, Against every fortified wall,
16 Against all the aships of Tarshish And against all the beautiful craft.
17 The pride of man will be humbled And the loftiness of men will be abased; And the Lord alone will be exalted in that day,

Isaiah 23

9 aThe Lord of hosts has planned it, to bdefile the pride of all beauty, To despise all the chonored of the earth.

Jeremiah 13

15 Listen and give heed, do not be ahaughty, For the Lord has spoken.
16 aGive glory to the Lord your God, Before He brings bdarkness And before your cfeet stumble On the dusky mountains, And while you are hoping for light He makes it into ddeep darkness, And turns it into gloom.
17 But aif you will not listen to it, My soul will bsob in secret for such pride; And my eyes will bitterly weep And flow down with tears, Because the cflock of the Lord has been taken captive.

Zephaniah 3

11 "In that day you will afeel no shame Because of all your deeds By which you have rebelled against Me; For then I will remove from your midst Your bproud, exulting ones, And you will never again be haughty On My choly mountain.
