2 Kings 25

4 aThen the city was broken into, and all the men of war fled by night by way of the gate between the two walls beside bthe king's garden, though the Chaldeans were all around the city. And they went by way of the Arabah.
5 But the army of the Chaldeans pursued the king and overtook him in the plains of Jericho and all his army was scattered from him.
6 Then athey captured the king and bbrought him to the king of Babylon at cRiblah, and he passed sentence on him.
7 aThey slaughtered the sons of Zedekiah before his eyes, then bput out the eyes of Zedekiah and bound him with bronze fetters and brought him to Babylon.

Jeremiah 37

17 Now King Zedekiah sent and took him out; and in his palace the king asecretly asked him and said, "Is there a bword from the Lord?" And Jeremiah said, "There is!" Then he said, "You will be cgiven into the hand of the king of Babylon!"

Jeremiah 38

18 'But if you will anot go out to the officers of the king of Babylon, then this city bwill be given over to the hand of the Chaldeans; and they will burn it with fire, and cyou yourself will not escape from their hand.'"

Jeremiah 38

23 'They will also bring out all your wives and your asons to the Chaldeans, and byou yourself will not escape from their hand, but will be seized by the hand of the king of Babylon, and bthis city will be burned with fire.'"

Jeremiah 39

4 When Zedekiah the king of Judah and all the men of war saw them, they afled and went out of the city at night by way of the king's garden through the gate bbetween the two walls; and he went out toward the Arabah.
5 But the army of the aChaldeans pursued them and overtook Zedekiah in the bplains of Jericho; and they seized him and brought him up to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon at cRiblah in the land of Hamath, and he passed sentence on him.
6 Then the aking of Babylon slew the sons of Zedekiah bbefore his eyes at Riblah; the king of Babylon also slew all the cnobles of Judah.
7 He then ablinded Zedekiah's eyes and bound him in bfetters of bronze to bring him to cBabylon.
