17 aRouse yourself! Rouse yourself! Arise, O Jerusalem, You who have bdrunk from the Lord'S hand the cup of His anger; The chalice of reeling you have drained to the dregs.
18 There is anone to guide her among all the sons she has borne, Nor is there one to take her by the hand among all the sons she has reared.
19 These two things have befallen you; Who will mourn for you? The adevastation and destruction, famine and sword; How shall I comfort you?
20 Your sons have fainted, They alie helpless at the head of every street, Like an bantelope in a net, Full of the wrath of the Lord, The crebuke of your God.

Jeremiah 42

18 For thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, "As My aanger and wrath have been poured out on the inhabitants of Jerusalem, so My wrath will be poured out on you when you enter Egypt. And you will become a bcurse, an object of horror, an imprecation and a reproach; and cyou will see this place no more."

Ezekiel 8

18 "Therefore, I indeed will deal in wrath. My eye will have no pity nor will I spare; and athough they cry in My ears with a loud voice, yet I will not listen to them."
