Then Moses atook them from their hands and offered them up in smoke on the altar with the burnt offering. They were an ordination offering for ba soothing aroma; it was an offering by fire to the Lord.

The Lord asmelled the soothing aroma; and the Lord said to Himself, "I will never again bcurse the ground on account of man, for cthe intent of man's heart is evil from his youth; dand I will never again destroy every living thing, as I have done.
