Matthew 10

1 Jesus asummoned His twelve disciples and gave them authority over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to bheal every kind of disease and every kind of sickness.

Matthew 10

9 "aDo not acquire gold, or silver, or copper for your money belts,
10 or a bag for your journey, or even two coats, or sandals, or a staff; for athe worker is worthy of his support.
11 "And whatever city or village you enter, inquire who is worthy in it, and stay at his house until you leave that city.
12 "As you enter the house, agive it your greeting.
13 "If the house is worthy, give it your blessing of peace. But if it is not worthy, take back your blessing of peace.
14 "Whoever does not receive you, nor heed your words, as you go out of that house or that city, ashake the dust off your feet.

Luke 9

1 aAnd He called the twelve together, and gave them power and authority over all the demons and to heal diseases.

3 And He said to them, "aTake nothing for your journey, bneither a staff, nor a bag, nor bread, nor money; and do not even have two tunics apiece.
4 "Whatever house you enter, stay there until you leave that city.
5 "And as for those who do not receive you, as you go out from that city, ashake the dust off your feet as a testimony against them."

6 "If a man of peace is there, your peace will rest on him; but if not, it will return to you.

8 "Whatever city you enter and they receive you, aeat what is set before you;
9 and heal those in it who are sick, and say to them, 'aThe kingdom of God has come near to you.'
10 "But whatever city you enter and they do not receive you, go out into its streets and say,
11 'aEven the dust of your city which clings to our feet we wipe off in protest against you; yet be sure of this, that bthe kingdom of God has come near.'
