The problem, the trouble, the affliction that God showed the Prophet. What did he see? God showed him the judgment that was coming on Judah. Judah was about to be destroyed and taken captive by the Chaldeans. This is what God wanted the Prophet to pray Why was God bringing judgment against Judah? They were living in sin and doing things unacceptable to God. They were oppressing the poor, spoiling, violence, strife, contentions, violating the law, injustice, the wicked oppressing the righteous. Sound familiar? This is where we are today in the US 1.
