Advertising early 20th Century create need for products. Thus, Valentines Day, etc. Desires needed to be fulfilled which is not what Jesus wanted, instead finding our communion with him, instead in the one who made us. Jesus knows all creations were created through him. Devil tried to make Jesus take his desires now and all nations now. Test the father now don't wait for the cross and pain. Take the easy road. Instant gratification retards growth. Maturity means wait and grow from each experience. Worship The Lord your God and serve him only! Hebrews ch. 12 v.2 he new everything would because he greater things were in store for him. Desire less. Sin is always a shortcut to instant gratification. … Expand
