16 "Behold, I am going to send for many afishermen," declares the Lord, "and they will fish for them; and afterwards I will send for many hunters, and they will bhunt them cfrom every mountain and every hill and from the clefts of the rocks.

Ezekiel 9

4 The Lord said to him, "Go through the midst of the city, even through the midst of Jerusalem, and put a amark on the foreheads of the men who bsigh and groan over all the abominations which are being committed in its midst."
5 But to the others He said in my hearing, "Go through the city after him and strike; do not let your eye have pity and do not spare.
6 "Utterly aslay old men, young men, maidens, little children, and women, but do not btouch any man on whom is the mark; and you shall cstart from My sanctuary." So they started with the elders who were before the temple.
7 And He said to them, "aDefile the temple and fill the courts with the slain. Go out!" Thus they went out and struck down the people in the city.
8 As they were striking the people and I alone was left, I afell on my face and cried out saying, "bAlas, Lord GOD! Are You destroying the whole remnant of Israel by pouring out Your wrath on Jerusalem?"
9 Then He said to me, "The iniquity of the house of Israel and Judah is very, very great, and the land is afilled with blood and the city is bfull of perversion; for cthey say, 'The Lord has forsaken the land, and the Lord does not see!'
10 "But as for Me, aMy eye will have no pity nor will I spare, but bI will bring their conduct upon their heads."
11 Then behold, the man clothed in linen at whose loins was the writing case reported, saying, "I have done just as You have commanded me."

Amos 9

1 I saw the Lord standing beside the aaltar, and He said, "Smite the capitals so that the bthresholds will shake, And cbreak them on the heads of them all! Then I will dslay the rest of them with the sword; They will enot have a fugitive who will flee, Or a refugee who will escape.
2 "Though they dig into aSheol, From there will My hand take them; And though they bascend to heaven, From there will I bring them down.
3 "Though they hide on the summit of Carmel, I will asearch them out and take them from there; And though they bconceal themselves from My sight on the floor of the sea, From there I will command the cserpent and it will bite them.
