I think that the problem that most people (including myself) have is that we have a "game show time-limit" mentality. There are certain things that we want for our lives (education, marriage, having children, etc) and we keep watching the sand flow by, getting more and more anxious because our time is running out, and we start thinking "What are you doing, GOD?! Don't you see that I'm almost out of sand? There's no way I can put the sand back...So what am I supposed to do?!" We always have our eye on the clock; we're impatient; we don't understand why we haven't gotten what we want yet. What we forget is that GOD has the ability to turn the hourglass over, giving us the time HE wants us to have, for HIS purpose.…Expand
